A global community campaign.
Allrecipes.com wanted a community campaign to mark their 15th anniversary. We proposed a way to bring their global network of users together, a way to share what matters most - their recipe for happiness. The campaign lived as a canvas app on Facebook and aggregated user generated content from Instagram tagged with #RecipeforHappiness as well as customized digital recipe cards created on Facebook, placing users on a world-wide map to highlight the universal concept of happiness. We designed the user experience and developed the campaign using design provided by Allrecipes' in house team. The app used the Google maps API and integrated with Instagram and Facebook to update content in realtime. From the large gallery of happy images, users could browse and pin, like, tweet and comment on their favorites spreading the word further into the social landscape.Launch Project
